2 Timothy 1:9: “For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.”

Holiness and grace go together like a pair of shoes. Being saved is one amazing thing, living a holy life is another; when Jesus died a sacrificial death something extraordinary happened: evil was atoned for.  God’s love covers a multitude of sins while God’s grace gives us room to fail, so we can get up again, so we can continue to grow, even though it’s sometimes two steps forward and one step back. God’s love and God’s grace sustain us in our daily endeavors.  He makes our life flourish. The bounty of spring we are experiencing when the season hits is a vivid reminder of that. Be encouraged today to receive His love and rely on His grace.  God wants you to thrive – nothing more, nothing less!

“Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.” (John Newton)
