Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

As long as there are people, we wonder: Is God real? Some see God involved in earth’s history, while others insist that everything happens by pure chance.

If we look at a musical piece and detect arrangement and orchestration, generally we are curious who composed it. It wouldn’t cross our minds that a musical piece just falls from the skies. Somebody had to come up with it. Similarly, the world around us seems arranged and composed in the most intricate way; to me this is pointing to a Creator.

The mystery of God’s mingling in human affairs has been the object of many heated discussions. If we are on board with having a Creator, the next question would be: do we have a Creator who is interested in His creation? If so, He is part of our lives. If not, He has basically abandoned His creation.

The Creator of the universe is not in the business of providing proof of His existence. He gave us eyes to see and a brain to think. We can put two and two together and arrive at our conclusions. Still, when it comes to finding God, we need help. It is the Spirit of God who opens our eyes and helps us recognize the Lord.

Those who find the Lord will discover His mysterious ways and are struck by His ingenuity and care. God became a human being and lived among us. What an amazing way to reach out to mankind! Jesus is a mystery ready to be discovered by you and me.

Everything will work out in the end if we have the courage to open the door of our heart and let God in. That is the Good News in a nutshell.
