James 1:12 “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

A tempted person will say: more is more. Moving past the temptation the same person will say: less is more.

Everybody has weak spots. Mine is to fill up my calendar with a lot of meaningful things. In other words, there’s nothing wrong with the scheduled activity, it’s just the amount of activity that is scheduled on any given week that is a killer.

Less is more!

I am eating my own words now. My temptation is to over-commit my time. I don’t really think that more is more, but yet I’m tempted to commit to more than I can handle. I’m currently working on that – learning to say “No”.

We all have bodies with no lifetime warranties. We can ruin our bodies with an unhealthy lifestyle, or we can listen to our bodies and take breaks. Life is more than work and productivity. We have stood the test of time if we learned how to live well. We live well when we love well.

Love is all-inclusive, that’s why love is so big. We love God who made us. We love everything He made. We love ourselves and we love people. Living life in this fashion we’ll discover we don’t need more.

I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had”
